Our most exclusive Jig Doll, in a limited edition! Only one of each colour available at this moment. These are our biggest Jig Dolls yet!
Mr Jolly Boy is made of native woods and contains some exquisite details.
This Mr. Jolly Boy is based on the Jolly Boy design by the well known Jig Doll maker, the late Goff Evans, which in turn was based on the Jolly Boys as marketed by the Dover Toy Company.

This Mr. Jolly Boy is based on the Jolly Boy design by the well known Jig Doll maker, the late Goff Evans, which in turn was based on the Jolly Boys as marketed by the Dover Toy Company.
This particular Mr. Jolly Boy has a hinge type joint in the ankle. This is different from the ball type joint in the other Mr. Jolly Boy Jig Doll.
As making the Mr. Jolly Boy is an involved and lengthy process, they do not become available often, so don't miss your chance!

- 35cm high and 6cm wide (there may be slight variations)
He comes with the stick you need to operate him, and we include a full size dancing plank!
He is a great dancer and his jointed ankles help make his movement amazing!
A Jig Doll is a very old traditional percussion instrument that creates sound by dancing to the beat or rhythm of the music and provides entertainment with its cheerful appearance and movements.
It is an instrument suitable for everyone, regardless of level of musical ability. All you need is to be able to tap to beat or rhythm!
(The uninteresting boring bit: we do not have any influence over customs proceedings and how long they take to get your fabulous doll to where you are. We have also found no rhyme or reason to it. This is why all of our items are sent with Track & Trace code, both within and outside The Netherlands, so that you, and us, can keep an eye on proceedings. In our experience packages in the EU and outside The Netherlands take about a week, and to the USA about 2 weeks.)
